New for the 2017 season – we will be offering boys and girls U23 soccer.
This is an opportunity for players who may be attending post secondary education or have entered the work force to re-connect with friends that they may not have seen since high school as well as get some exercise and have fun!
This will be 11 v. 11 soccer played on a full size field with match officials,
Girls U23 games are tentatively scheduled for Thursday nights at 7:00 or 8:45pm and Boys U23 games will be played Monday nights at 7:00 or 8:45pm (depending on field availability).
All schedules will be centrally maintained and located on the WNISL interlock league website (WNISL.com) – as well as real-time standings maintained throughout the season viewable at any time!
I realize that a lot of the emails are going to the parents of the potential players, and that many of the players may no longer live at home – please help us spread the word about this new division, the initial response has been extremely positive but we will need a large number of players to get this division off the ground. It is open to former house league players, travel players or players who might not have played for a few years who were born between 1994 and 1998, and there is no requirement for the player to currently be living in the region.
